Priya Parmar is the author of the novels Exit the Actress and Vanessa and Her Sister, a New York Times Notable Book praised for its vivid reimagining of the Bloomsbury Group. She is also the co-author of the Olivier Award–nominated musical Sylvia at London’s Old Vic Theatre. Her forthcoming novel, The Original, explores the life and identity of Katharine Hepburn in 1930s Hollywood. Parmar’s work is known for blending rich historical research with emotionally layered storytelling. She lives between London and Connecticut with her family and rescue dogs.
