Professor Langholz is dedicated to the sustainability of natural resources, exploring how fisheries, forests, and wildlife can be used responsibly while being preserved for the future. His teaching and research are informed by global experience with organizations like the IUCN, EPA, and consultancies across five continents, as well as his award-winning scholarship featured in over 250 media outlets. A former Fulbright Scholar, salmon rancher, and Peace Corps rice farmer, he has also served on faculty governance committees and the boards of conservation-focused nonprofits.
