Jack Ford is an author and journalist whose career as an American news personality has spanned more than 3 decades. Following his early career as a prominent trial attorney, he transitioned to television news and has worked as an anchor/correspondent for NBC, ABC, CBS, ESPN, Court TV, and, most recently, hosted Metro Focus on PBS. He has received three Emmy Awards, a Peabody Award, three American Radio and Television Awards, a National Headliner Award, and the March of Dimes FDR Award. A graduate of Yale University and Fordham University School of Law, he has been a visiting lecturer at Yale since 2007, where he teaches a seminar on famous trials. He is the author of two acclaimed historical fiction novels, CHARIOT ON THE MOUNTAIN and BEYOND THIS PLACE OF WRATH AND TEARS, and lives with his family in Spring Lake, NJ.
